Mark's A12 Super Bee
Mark L. of San Antonio had this
original A12 Bee trucked up here to
Smothers Tuned Supercars to get it brought back to life.......Here's
how the car looked after we tore it apart for an EXTREME
makeover........

Check out that fresh
paint......Mark Smith and Ernie Shaefer did a
fantastic job of fixing the sheet metal the RIGHT WAY and pimping out
the body and paint!!!
The Hemi orange Bee is
back at my shop.........
Awe yeah, check out the
detail.........
Motor is a stock stroke
440 with TRW flat tops......It's got a small,
custom ground solid Dwayne Porter cam, and the 906 heads are
ported......The car should easily run 110MPH or better, which is good
enough for 11.90's on slicks...........
It's finally starting to
look like a car.........Mark added the vinyl
top so it'd be more convenient to throw the hood up there......
18 spline HEMI
transmission has just been freshened and it's ready for some POWER
SHIFTING!!!
Check out that under
carriage!!!.........and just think, I get to hammer on it for the first
time!!!
Owner added bucket seats
and console, so we installed the console
brackets and bucket seat floor reinforcements by gluing them in with
epoxy instead of welding them in........
